Pubic hair transplant
For those who don’t have pubic hair, a pubic hair transplant provides a long-lasting and stable solution.
Surgery is performed under local anesthesia and lasts about 2 hours. Scalp with hair is taken from the back of the patient’s head. After that the scalp is separated into several units including 2 to 4 hairs and full follicles. These units are then transplanted to the pubic area. With the use of special medical instruments, follicles are minimally damaged, which increases the chances that the transplanted hair will live.
The transplanted area will be bandaged for a week. After a month, the original transplanted hairs will fall out, however, new hair will grow back after 3 to 4 months. The result is permanent.
