A woman’s breasts are symbols of femininity and attraction. However, if a woman has over-sized breasts it can cause back or neck pain as well as low self-esteem. Over-sized breasts are either the result of mammary glands or milk ducts which are overdeveloped at birth or post – pregnancy.
Surgery is performed in hospital under general anesthesia. It takes between 2 to 4 hours, depending on how low the breasts hang. You will be hospitalised for 1 to 2 days. Stitches are removed after 10 to 14 days. You will recover fully and can return to daily activities after a week, but you will have to wear a surgical bra for a month.
